The 2014 Annual Vans US Open of Surfing ended on Sunday night at Huntington Beach. The week-long festival including competitions in the sports of Surf, Skate, and BMX. Annually, the US Open of Surfing brings attendance at about 500,000 people in total.
The final results from the 2014 competitions are as follows:
Surf (Men’s Final) – Felipe Toledo (BRA) 17.56 def. Willian Cardosa (BRA) 12.80
Surf (Women’s Final) – Tyler Wright (AUS) 14.77 def. Stephanie Gilmore (AUS) 13.16
Skate (Men’s Final) – Raven Tershy (1st), Charlie Blaire (2nd), Murillo Peres (3rd)
Skate (Women’s Final) – Lizzie Armanto (1st), Alanna Smith (2nd), Julz Lynn (3rd)
BMX (Men’s Final) – Gary Young (92.00 – 1st), Chase Hawk (91.00 – 2nd), Jason Watts (89.60 – 3rd)
