Another Friday night at Sound Nightclub as L.A.’s own Felix Da Housecat came and played.  As a respective house and trance DJ, the playing fields were endless for the 45-year old Chicago native.  As he was a one of the few pioneers in the wave of Chicago house music, he came across multiple genres including acid house, hip-hop and R&B.  Also, Felix has played with several respective artists including Madonna, P-Diddy, New Order, Garbage, among others.  It’s not also include well-respected producers such as: Nile Rodgers, and Miss Kittin, for which gained Felix mainstream exposure onto the scene in the U.K. and onwards.

Felix is known to wanting his audience to dance.  And it showed.  He played mixes including Groove Armada’s “U Can”, Mfon’s “Ron Hardy’s Resurrection”, and Harry Romero’s track “What What.”  Not to say thee least – he also grooved to oldies but goodies – “Sinner Winner”, “Touch Your Body,” and Moby’s “Go”.
